The federal government's job creation and empowerment initiative, N-Power, has warned Nigerians that it is not taking new applications at the moment.
The clarification was made on the social media pages of N-Power amidst reports of potential beneficiaries being scammed.
“N-Power is not taking new applications yet. Please stop putting in your details in scam websites. When we open the portal, you will be the first to know,” the promoters warned.

A month ago, Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo promised Nigerians that the federal government will expand the current N-Power programme.
Osinbajo made the promise at the 11th Bola Tinubu Colloquium held on Thursday, March 29, to celebrate the 67th birthday of the former Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
The vice president also promised that the Next Level plans of the government would to exciting, though a bit challenging.
