Leroy Sane's Man City career could be over as his replacement is 'revealed'

- Leroy Sane who has registered 10 goals and 10 assists for Man City this season could be told to leave the club due to his poor attitude

- The relationship between Sane and his manager Guardiola is thought to be strained

- Sane, 23, has started just 21 times in the Premier League this season

Last season’s PFA young player of the year Leroy Sane could be offloaded during the summer by Manchester City due to his poor attitude.

According to a report on The Sun, Man City manager Pep Guardiola is running out of patience with the German star, and his attitude in training is one major factor the Citizens hierarchy are already searching for a potential replacement.

Despite being one of the only three players in Man City squad to have registered 10 or more goals and 10 or most assists in the Premier League this season, Sane who was a £37 million signing from Schalke in 2016, has started just 21 times in the league.

The 23-year-old German has played second fiddle in most games this season to Bernando Silva, a surprise retrogression from last season, where he played a huge role in Man City’s road to winning the league title with a record 100 points.

Sane was rewarded with the PFA young player of the year award for his effort after scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists across all competitions last season which was only just his second season with the club.

But fast-forward to 2019, the relationship between Sane and Guardiola is thought to be strained as the player struggles to adapt to his manager’s high demands.

It is understood that City Director of Football Txiki Begiristian is reportedly scouting Benfica’s wonder-kid Joao Felix as a potential replacement for Sane.

The Citizens will need to trigger a monster £102million release clause to sign the 19-year-old from Portugal.

Felix became the youngest player ever to score a Europa League hat-trick in April and his speed and technical ability as caught the attention of Pep Guardiola.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Man City will have to win on Monday, May 6, when they face Leicester City to return back to the top of the Premier League table.

This follows match report that Newcastle vs Liverpool ended in a 3-2 victory for the Reds as they take Premier League title race to the last day.

The Transitional Phase of African Poetry

The Transitional Phase The second phase, which we have chosen to call transitional, is represented by the poetry of writers like Abioseh Nicol, Gabriel Okara, Kwesi Brew, Dennis Brutus, Lenrie Peters and Joseph Kariuki. This is poetry which is written by people we normally refer to as modem and who may be thought of as belonging to the third phase. The characteristics of this poetry are its competent and articulate use of the received European language, its unforced grasp of Africa’s physical, cultural and socio-political environment and often its lyricism. To distinguish this type of poetry we have to refer back to the concept of appropriation we introduced earlier. At the simplest and basic level, the cultural mandate of possessing a people’s piece of the earth involves a mental and emotional homecoming within the physical environment. Poems like Brew’s ‘‘Dry season”, Okara’s “Call of the River Nun”, Nicol’s “The meaning of Africa” and Soyinka’s “Season”, to give a few examples,
