Lady who graduated with 3rd class admits she employs 1st class graduates and pays them

- A Nigerian lady identified as Farida on Twitter has revealed that she is a third class graduate who employs people with first class

- Farida added that she earns what people with first class cannot imagine earning

- Farida is a software developer

In Nigeria, there is a stigma attached to people who graduated with a third class or a pass. Gaining reasonable employment becomes a task for them as employers seek people with better grades.

However, a young software developer identified as Farida (@reedahkh) on Twitter has revealed that she graduated with a third class but she now employs first class graduates and pays them as well.

The young lady added that she never used her certificate for her achievements and she earns more that the first class graduate can imagine. See her tweet below:

Explaining further, Farida added that one's class of degree or certificate does not determine one's success in life and that people with third class can become very successful and vice versa.

However, Farida admitted that she used to feel hopeless because of her result and she became motivated to do better. According to her, she graduated top of her class in software development but the certificate did not help her get a job.

Finally, she added that she employs people based on their capacity as a developer and not their result from the university.

Despite Farida's impressive story, a few Twitter users felt she gave a generalized opinion by saying she earns more that people can imagine. See some comments below:
