Game of Thrones: Tiwa Savage reveals she has not seen popular series, Nigerians react

Music and football has arguably been something that brings people of different nationalities and backgrounds together. However, an epic series, Game of Thrones can also boast of having a very large following from viewers all over the world.

Game of Thrones which started in 2011 managed to become one of the most viewed epic movies of all time as people from different parts of the world made sure to follow it religiously.

Just as the final season of the series was about to air in April 2019, social media became abuzz as fans from all over made sure to tweet or drop messages about it online. Those who have not seen the series were left confused and also a bit left out as they wondered what is so special about dragons, iron thrones, the unburnt, broken people, Dothrakis, White walkers and more.

Interestingly, Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, has revealed that she is also part of the team of people who have not seen a single episode of the series.

She tweeted: “I must be the ONLY one that hasn’t watched GOT ♀️”

A number of Nigerians who have also not seen the series were pleased to see that one of their favourites is one of them.

Some people showed that they have also not seen the series while others advised her to start watching because they feel she is missing a lot. See some reactions below:

Well, it seems many Nigerians bent the knee and became great fans of the series while others stood straight and refused to join the hype.

Just recently, Legit.ng reported that a Ghanaian pastor explained that Christians who watch Game of Thrones are going to hell.

Victor Eghan took to his timeline call Christians to order and he gave reasons why those of the faith who watch Game of Thrones are going to hell as he claimed most of the things been shown in the series are immoral and against the bible doctrines.

Eghan took his time to analysis what goes and who does what in the popular series that has millions across the world glue to their television sets week in week out.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
