First photos from Nikkai ceremony as Oba Saheed Elegushi marries 2nd wife in style

Legit.ng earlier shared the news that Lagos monarch, Saheed Ademola Elegushi was set to pick a second wife from Kano.

Recent reports show that the Elegushi of Ikate has tied the knot with Hadiza Tanko, younger sibling of Salihu Tanko Yakasai, the special adviser to the Kano state governor in a special Nikkai ceremony held in the hometown of the bride.

Hadiza's brother, Salihu, shared the first photos from the ceremony which happened on May 4 with family and friends present to bid the wife farewell to her new home.

He expressed joy that his younger sister, the last of 23 siblings was tying the knot and becoming the olori of Elegushi royal family.

Hadiza is said to be an entrepreneur and a business development manager at an oil and gas firm.

Hadiza Tanko is going to be the second wife of the monarch, Oba Saheed, who has been married to his first wife, Sekinat for 16 years with whom he has three daughters with.

Meanwhile, a sad incident has occurred in Kogi state.

A Nigerian man identified as Yahaya Abdul died mysteriously. The deceased who worked as a auto-repair technician (mechanic) was reportedly set to walk down the aisle on May 4, but was found dead few hours before the ceremony, in his home.
