Tension as Man United set to lose 7 top players at the end of the season

- Manchester United is facing the prospect of losing about seven players during the summer

- The pair of Paul Pogba and David De Gea are among squad members considering leaving United

- United's struggle to qualify for next season's Champions League has been blamed for the sudden moves to quit

Manchester United are set to lose about seven squad members including the likes of Paul Pogba and David De Gea in the coming transfer window.

UK Sun report citing The Times revealed that seven players are on the radar of clubs that will participate in the Champions League next season as United continue their quest to seal a spot from the Premier League.

However, the Red Devils recent defeat at Moneliux by Wolves saw the Old Trafford dwellers fall to sixth, two points adrift of fourth-placed Arsenal.

In addition, 26-year-old Pogba has already declared his interest in playing under compatriot Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, who he described as “somebody who brings something few others can to the pitch”.

Previously, SunSport reported that Pogba is seeking an improved new salary of about £500,000 weekly to remain at Old Trafford.

On the other hand, Zidane is keen on rebuilding the Los Blancos squad at the end of the campaign, no thanks to their below-the-par performance this term.

Equally, De Gea, who has repeatedly refused signing a new deal is also on the radar of Read Madrid alongside the duo of Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.

Interestingly, the new deal would have made the Spanish goalkeeper United’s highest paid player.

And with De Gea heading into the final leg of his contract next season, the 28-year-old can pen a pre-contract with any of his suitors in January.

At the last count, Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku is another United star considering his future at the Theater of Dreams, even as the Red Devils are set to lose Ander Herrera, who reportedly signed a pre-contract with PSG.

Meanwhile, Juan Mata is still holding discussions with some clubs including Barca as his contract runs out at the end of the season..

Eric Bailly is also looking at his options while reports claim the Ivorian defender is ruing his decision to move to Old Trafford last year.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has reportedly informed Paul Pogba the club will not sanction his move to Real Madrid.

During a recent interview with the French media, Pogba admitted a move to Madrid would be "a dream" for anyone.

However, in an apparent move to calm the storm, Solskjaer has held private talks with the star midfielder to know his future plans at the Manchester outfit.

Galadima, an ardent critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, claimed that he did not borrow money or have unpaid debt with Unity Bank, which lodged a complaint against him and occasioned AMCON’s move on Tuesday. The properties taken over include House No. 15, Addis Ababa Crescent, Wuse Zone 4, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and House No. 4, Bangui Street, Wuse 2, also in Abuja.  Reacting to the situation, Galadima said, “This is an attempt to disgrace and break me down.
