Story for the gods - Davido says regarding his uncle’s candidature nullification by Abuja high court

A popular Nigerian singer Davido, who is widely known for his unreserved supports for his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has once again taken to social media to clap hard in favor of his kin.

Legit.ng had previously gathered the report of the nullification of the candidature of Adeleke as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Part (PDP), in the September 2018 governorship election that held in Osun state, by a high court sitting in Abuja.

This had been on the grounds that the ‘dancing senator’ as many refer to him, does not possess the requisite educational qualification to vie for the post.

Davido has now taken to popular micro-blogging platform Twitter, to give his reaction to the news.

It would be recalled that the singer had previously taken to his Instagram page some weeks ago, in celebration of the tribunal’s declaration of his uncle as the winner of the 2018 Osun gubernatorial elections.

Buhari’s Legacy Of Recessions By Fredrick Nwabufo

Fredrick Nwabufo ‘Why always Buhari?’ As it was in 1984 under General Buhari, so it is in 2016 and 2020 under President Buhari? Is it by the unfortunate hands of kismet that recession hits Nigeria every time Buhari takes charge of the country’s affairs? If the recession of the 80s under Buhari was a conspiracy by economic and political factors, to what do we attribute that of his first coming as a civilian President — and now in his second coming? Why does pestilence scourge the land, hunger ravage the population and lives lost malevolently when Buhari presides over the country? Why always Buhari? Buhari’s undoing is his wonted predilection for hierarchising ethnicity, religion and loyalty above competence. Since 1999, no President has obtrusively shown a more nepotistic aspect than Buhari. It is unarguable that the President arrays the most competence-challenged cabinet ever in the chronicle of governance in Nigeria. Yes, a recession cabinet. Fredrick Nwabufo Here is a cabin...
