- Tottenham vs Ajax Champions League semifinal first leg encounter will be played on Tuesday night, April 30
- Spurs have been boosted with the return to training of Moussa Sissoko ahead of this game
- The Premier League side have won their two previous meetings against Ajax
Premier League giants Tottenham will on Tuesday night, April 30, continue their quest towards reaching Champions League final as they face Dutch side Ajax in the semifinal first leg.
En route to this stage in the 2018/19 Champions League, Tottenham against all odds sent out Premier League champions Manchester City, while Ajax took out Italian side Juventus.
Ajax have had the luxury of a full week off to prepare for this match after the Dutch Eredivisie cancelled last weekend's domestic round of fixtures in order to give their team maximum chance of doing well in Europe.
They have also scored on every ground they have played this season since the start of the Champions League and they are referred to as 'giants killer' after sending Real Madrid and Juventus out of the championship.
But if history is something to be followed or taken serious in football, then Tottenham will have the advantage over visiting Ajax tonight at their Stadium.

This is because Tottenham have won both of their previous meetings with Ajax in all competitions winning both legs in the first round of the 1981-82 Cup Winners' Cup (3-1 away, 3-0 at home).
Ajax have never in their history won against any English club in England as their last three games in the United Kingdom ended in draws which was two against Arsenal and 1 vs Man City.
Meanwhile, 8pm is the kickoff time for this Champions League tie between Tottenham and Ajax and we will bring you the live update of the encounter.
Predicted line-ups
Tottenham: Lloris; Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Dier, Wanyama, Alli, Eriksen, Lucas; Llorente
Ajax: Onana; Veltman, De Ligt, Blind, Tagliafaco; Schone, De Jong, Van De Beek; Ziyech, Tadic, Neres
