They will, however, co-parent their six-year-old son, Angelo, whom she gave birth to in 2012.

“Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment," they said.

The couple had married in secret but she only confirmed their union in 2017 when she referred to herself as a married woman during a concert.

She also publicly addressed the wedding and referred to Konecki as her husband during an acceptance speech at the 2017 Grammys

The Grammy winner largely keeps mum on her private life and her relationship with Konecki.

Konecki is co-founder of Life water and its charity Drop4drop which promotes global access to clean water.

The Tottenham-born 30-year-old singer married Konecki, a charity entrepreneur, in 2016 after five years of dating.

Adele released her debut album, 19, in 2008, and it contained the songs Chasing Pavements and Hometown Glory and reached number one in the UK.

Her eagerly anticipated follow-up, 2011's 21, brought even more success thanks to the singles Someone Like You, Rolling In The Deep and Rumour Has It.

The record topped the charts in 30 countries, including the US and UK, and cemented Adele's status as one of the world's best-loved artists.

Adele released her most recent album, 25, in 2015, which contained the single Hello. It proved to be another critical and commercial success.

Buhari’s Legacy Of Recessions By Fredrick Nwabufo

Fredrick Nwabufo ‘Why always Buhari?’ As it was in 1984 under General Buhari, so it is in 2016 and 2020 under President Buhari? Is it by the unfortunate hands of kismet that recession hits Nigeria every time Buhari takes charge of the country’s affairs? If the recession of the 80s under Buhari was a conspiracy by economic and political factors, to what do we attribute that of his first coming as a civilian President — and now in his second coming? Why does pestilence scourge the land, hunger ravage the population and lives lost malevolently when Buhari presides over the country? Why always Buhari? Buhari’s undoing is his wonted predilection for hierarchising ethnicity, religion and loyalty above competence. Since 1999, no President has obtrusively shown a more nepotistic aspect than Buhari. It is unarguable that the President arrays the most competence-challenged cabinet ever in the chronicle of governance in Nigeria. Yes, a recession cabinet. Fredrick Nwabufo Here is a cabin...
