Nigerian man who adopted actor RMD as his father celebrates him on social media

The lives of celebs appear to be a glamorous one and people on social media often wish to be very close to them.

It is no longer news to see fans going to great lengths to get the attention of their favourite celebrities on social media.

Legit.ng recently gathered the report of a young guy who took to his Twitter page to celebrate Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) whom he claimed to be his father.

The chap identified as Izzy the boy (@XCL360) shared series of photos of the actor on his page as he introduced him to his fans as his father.

Izzy tweeted: “My dad is 59, pursuing a modelling career, and I’ve never seen him happier. He told me he’s just waiting for a chance to blow up. So, Twitter, meet my dad.”

As expected some of his followers on the microblogging site were surprised that he would call the actor his father and they expressed as much.

However, a few people believed that the actor is actually Izzy's dad.

These days, anything goes on social media.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that a young lady took to Twitter to recount how her old school mate who is now married called her disrespectful for referring to her by her first name.

It is not strange for one to hear stories of how newly married ladies stop being friendly with their unmarried female friends because they do not want to be influenced badly or they feel they are no longer on the same level.

Well, a Nigerian lady identified as Tegs (@Mariogaaa) on Twitter took to the microblogging site to share her experience with an old classmate who is now married.

Buhari’s Legacy Of Recessions By Fredrick Nwabufo

Fredrick Nwabufo ‘Why always Buhari?’ As it was in 1984 under General Buhari, so it is in 2016 and 2020 under President Buhari? Is it by the unfortunate hands of kismet that recession hits Nigeria every time Buhari takes charge of the country’s affairs? If the recession of the 80s under Buhari was a conspiracy by economic and political factors, to what do we attribute that of his first coming as a civilian President — and now in his second coming? Why does pestilence scourge the land, hunger ravage the population and lives lost malevolently when Buhari presides over the country? Why always Buhari? Buhari’s undoing is his wonted predilection for hierarchising ethnicity, religion and loyalty above competence. Since 1999, no President has obtrusively shown a more nepotistic aspect than Buhari. It is unarguable that the President arrays the most competence-challenged cabinet ever in the chronicle of governance in Nigeria. Yes, a recession cabinet. Fredrick Nwabufo Here is a cabin...
