Nigerian inmate delivers a set of twins in Calabar prison, government takes responsibility

- A female inmate of Afokang prison in Calabar, Cross River State has reportedly delivered a set of twins

- The yet-to-be-identified inmate welcomed the bundles of joy on April 18

- Reports state that the twins whom are named after the governor and his wife, Benedict and Linda Ayade will be taken care of by the government

A female inmate of Afokang prison in Calabar, Cross River State has reportedly delivered a set of twins, a boy and a girl. The yet-to-be identified mother welcomed the bundles of joy on April 18 and is said to still be in prison.

The twin babies have been named after Cross River governor and his wife, Benedict and Linda Ayade and reports claim that government is to be responsible for the babies as the mother will remain in prison.

Many social media users have pleaded that the mother of the twin babies be released foe the sake of her children but it appears the best option which has been given if for the government to cater for the twins.

Meanwhile, a woman has been stuck at the Kenyatta National Hospital for two years after she suffered an acute case of amnesia after giving birth and forgetting the entire experience.

Caroline Nduta is said to have given birth by the roadside in South C estate, Nairobi, back in June 2017 before she was taken to the health facility alongside her baby.
