Music producer Samklef reacts to singer Simi's take on internet fraud, calls her action fake attention

Nigerian singer Simi became a trending topic of discussion in the online community some days ago after she came out to speak against internet fraud and the perpetrators.

Simi explained that it is important for Nigerians to change their perspectives about Yahoo Yahoo if we want the world to have a different view about us.

She noted that people should endeavor to change the mindset of anyone around them that is a perpetrator of internet fraud, adding that, if such people refuse to desist, they should be reported to the authorities.

The singer’s opinion attracted a lot of views from other people including popular rapper M.I, who had supported her position.

In a recent development however, ace music producer Samklef, holds a completely different opinion on the subject of Yahoo boys.

Sharing a post on Instagram, Samklef made a reference to how Nigerian artistes fail to speak about relevant issues that are ongoing in the country, but would rather seek fake attention.

Although, he said that he was not in support of internet fraud, he expressed that it was not the only problem the country is facing.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
