Mo Salah reveals the only thing Liverpool can do to win Premier League title this season

-Mohamed Salah increased his Premier League goal tally to 19 after firing a long range shot into Kepa Arrizabalaga's goal post in the second half

- Sadio Mane had given the Reds the lead about two minutes earlier having played goalless in the first half

- Salah believes they can win the title this time if they maintain their winning mentality for the rest of the season

Mohamed Salah has insisted that Liverpool can win the Premier League title this May if they win all their remaining four matches.

The Egyptian forward scored a stunning goal in the Reds 2-0 win over Chelsea at Anfield on Sunday as he takes his goal tally in the EPL to 19 this campaign.

They are also back at the summit of the table with 85 points after 34 matches - two points behind Manchester City, who have one match at hand.

However, their next four games will be against Cardiff (A), Huddersfield (H), Newcastle (A) and Wolves (H), and they will hope City will drop points in the process.

"In my opinion, yes, We just need to focus on our game and hope Manchester City will lose points. Salah told Sky Sports.

Before his goal against Southampton earlier this month, Salah had gone a couple of months without scoring a goal but he seems undisturbed about the whole thing.

He said: "It's different when other teams have two or three players on me. [Sadio] Mane is having a very good season, so is [Roberto] Firmino, they are scoring more goals than last season, because the attention on me is giving them more freedom, and I am very happy for them.

"It helps the team to score more goals, when they focus on my side the other side is free, we are a team and we focus on the team.

"I am not complaining, I am happy with the result, we are first now so that's the most important thing. The Premier League is the most important thing for me."

Pep Guardiola on the other hands earlier warned his players that they must not allow the title to slip off their hands.

The Citizens face Spurs (H), Manchester United (A), Burnley (A), Leicester (H) and Brighton (A), knowing a win in all five mean they retain the title.

"We have done two seasons, 183 points, with five games left, two seasons, why should I doubt what these players have done? I never doubt my players," Guardiola said.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Liverpool cruised to 2-0 win over Chelsea in Sunday's Premier League clash at Anfield.

Two second half goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane powered the Reds to victory as they edge closer to their first EPL title in decades.

They leaped back to the summit of the table with two points better than Man City who also claimed 3-1 win over Crystal Palace over the weekend.

Buhari’s Legacy Of Recessions By Fredrick Nwabufo

Fredrick Nwabufo ‘Why always Buhari?’ As it was in 1984 under General Buhari, so it is in 2016 and 2020 under President Buhari? Is it by the unfortunate hands of kismet that recession hits Nigeria every time Buhari takes charge of the country’s affairs? If the recession of the 80s under Buhari was a conspiracy by economic and political factors, to what do we attribute that of his first coming as a civilian President — and now in his second coming? Why does pestilence scourge the land, hunger ravage the population and lives lost malevolently when Buhari presides over the country? Why always Buhari? Buhari’s undoing is his wonted predilection for hierarchising ethnicity, religion and loyalty above competence. Since 1999, no President has obtrusively shown a more nepotistic aspect than Buhari. It is unarguable that the President arrays the most competence-challenged cabinet ever in the chronicle of governance in Nigeria. Yes, a recession cabinet. Fredrick Nwabufo Here is a cabin...
