Maradona’s daughter reveals how she knew her dad uses banned substance as a child

- Diego Maradona's daughter Giannina disclosed that he sister was caught him taking drugs in the family bathroom

- Giannina also stressed she no longer talks with her dad and will never welcome him back into her life

- The 58-year-old Maradona is currently the coach at Mexican side Dorados de Sinaloa

Diego Maradona’s daughter has revealed how her sister surprisingly caught her father taking banned substance in the family’s bathroom.

According to UK Sun, Maradona’s younger daughter alongside with ex-wife Claudia Villafane, Gianinna, disclosed this while speaking on a TV station in Argentina.

Giannina also stressed she no longer talks with her dad and will never welcome him back into her life, even as she recalled that she spent her younger years with a father, who was addicted to banned substance.

“Once my sister (Dalma) walked into the bathroom and my dad was taking drugs.

“There is something that I will never forgive my dad for but I’m going to keep it for myself because I want to preserve my son and my niece,” Gianinna said, even as she went down memory lane to remember spending her 15th birthday at the hospital staff to allow her see her father, who was admitted due to drug addiction.

“They wouldn’t let me see him. Leaving him there was terrible, he stayed there and we left,” added the 29-year-old actress, who was formerly married to Man City star Sergio Aguero and the pair had a ten-year-old son, Benjamin.

Speaking further, she revealed how they parted ways finally with the 58-year-old Maradona while he was still dating ex-girlfriend Veronica Ojeda - but suddenly starting calling his ex-wife Villafane in the hospital.

“When my dad woke up in hospital he was with Veronica and he started shouting for Claudia,” she noted.

Gianinna admitted Maradona managed to keep a close relationship with his daughters and their mum until things fell apart recently.

During his daughter Dalma’s wedding last year, they failed to invite his the girlfriend Rocio Olivar, which reportedly he did not take likely and did not attend.

I dream they can leave us alone. He can be happy with the choices he has made, and he can let my mum be happy.

“Seeing your mother suffer is very sad, I have seen her suffer a lot, as I have seen him suffer too,” summed up Giannina will recounting how she ‘lost” her dad.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Argentina football legend Diego Maradona is currently missing from his duty post as manager of Mexican side Dorados de Sinaloa after suffering from depression.

According to Mirror report citing Argentinian journalist Luis Ventura, who revealed on a TV programme ‘Involucrados’, that Maradona’s recent separation from girlfriend, Rocio Oliva as well as other family issues are the major causes of his depression.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
