Man United superstar issues rallying cry ahead of Barcelona Champions League clash

- David De Gea has told his teammates at Manchester United to improve their games

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has made it clear that his teammates did not play well despite beating West Ham United and called for improvement ahead of Barcelona clash.

The Red Devils were 2-1 winners to maintain their push for a top-four place, but goalkeeper De Gea conceded they will have to raise their level in the Nou Camp.

Ole Solskjaer's men were beaten at home 1-0 in the first leg of their quarterfinal clash against Barcelona at Old Trafford.

“Of course it's difficult, but if you want to be a top team you have to play big Champions League games, and the weekend after it's the Premier League.

“So you have to be focused and ready for a difficult game again. I think today we didn't play well, we have to improve a lot and now we have a big challenge on Tuesday.

“We will try to fight and win the game. We can go with more confidence after the three points.

“It's a big challenge, a special occasion, in Spain, against Barcelona, a Champions League night, so it's going to be an amazing game,'' the Spaniard explained according to UK Mirror.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Scott McTominay was rested by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during Manchester United's 2-1 win over West Ham at Old Trafford.

And the Norwegian manager has revealed that the Scotland international was kept fresh ahead of United's Champions League game against Barcelona in midweek.

The Red Devils are faced with a daunting task to shock the tournament favourites as they look to overturn a 1-0 defeat suffered in the first leg.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
