Nigerians are known for many things all over the world but one negative thing that seems to stand out is the high rate of internet fraud in the country.
A number of Nigerians have tarnished the country’s image at home and even in foreign places.
Legit.ng has gathered the report of a young man who was scammed by an online fraudster who pretended to be Senator Dino Melaye.
The fraudster had lured his unsuspecting victim, Tunji Ayobami, with the juicy offer of helping him transform N20k to N200k. Well there is a common saying that only greedy people get scammed and that seems to be the case here.

Tunji wasted no time in sending the N20,000 with the hopes of getting a huge sum in return. However the scammer went incommunicado and left his victim full of regret.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that a white woman who was scammed by a Nigerian man revealed that she is still in love with him.
The white woman identified as Terry revealed on a show hosted by American media personality Dr Phil that she had met a certain man named Jefferey online. After relating with the man for quite a while, she trusted him enough to send her hard earned money to him.
According to what she said, her scammer was no Jefferey and he definitely was no California businessman as he had told her. He was a Nigerian who is based in Ekpoma, Edo state.
