Man City players 'bribe' coaches and fans after Champions League setback

- Man City players have vowed to foot the bill for 26 coaches to being joined by supporters in their buses to watch the FA Cup final live at Wembley

- The gesture is an appreciation from the players to their fans for their support so far this season

Manchester City players will foot the bill for 26 coaches’ buses who will be joined by supporters to watch the FA Cup final against Watford live at Wembley.

According to the captain of the side Vincent Kompany, the gesture is an appreciation from the players to the fans for their support so far this season, despite their Champions League setback at the hands of Tottenham.

The fans will even get extra buses for the trip to Wembley if there is a demand. The 26 coaches represent every senior members of Pep Guardiola’s team.

Kompany said: “The support from our fans throughout the season has been nothing short of incredible.

"Travelling to so many games in league and cup competitions, both home and away, is not easy to do and is something that every player in our squad values and appreciates.

"Although Wednesday night's result (against Tottenham) was not the one that we had hoped for, it was very special to hear our fans in full voice for 90 minutes backing the team.

"We still have so much to fight for this season, and this is our way of saying thank you to them for being with us every step of the way.”

Man City have played four times at Wembley already this season and now face Watford in the FA Cup final on May 18.

Pep Guardiola's men crashed out on the away goal rules as the first leg ended 1-0 in favor of Tottenham and qualified on 4-4 aggregate.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID.
