Just in: Buhari to attend inauguration of Senegalese president

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday, April 1, depart Abuja for Dakar, Senegal to attend the inauguration of Senegalese president, Macky Sall.

The president's visit to Senegal follows President Sall's re-election for a second term in the just concluded Senegalese poll.

A statement by the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, said the President’s trip followed an invitation from his host.

Adesina said President Buhari, who is ECOWAS chairman, will be the special guest of honour at the ceremony, to be attended by other African leaders at the Diamniadio Exhibition Centre on Tuesday, April 2.
