In other news, Legit.ng reported on five times Nigerian musicians wished they were Dangote in their songs to celebrate his birthday.

The art of praising well known and popular figures is definitely not something that just got into the Nigerian music space, in fact, it goes way back in time to the days of high life music maestros like Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Ayinla Kollington, Wasiu Ayinde and a host of others.

Modern day singers have drawn inspiration from their predecessors and that is why you will find a sensational singer like Burna Boy for example, naming a complete music single after a well to do personality in the country.
