- Paris-Saint-Germain squandered a two-goal lead to lose the encounter 6-5 on penalties

Brazilian football star Neymar has enjoined young Paris-Saint-Germain's teammates to listen to experienced members of the team after the club's Cup defeat against Rennnes.

Rennes on Saturday, April 27, came back from two goals down to force Paris-Saint-Germain to penalties before winning the encounter 6-5.

Dani Alves scored the opening goal for Paris-Saint-Germain before Neymar doubled the lead, but the French champions squandered a two-goal lead in Paris.

Neymar was not happy after the match which his team lost and he therefore criticized some of his teammates after collecting his medal.

''We need to be more like men in the dressing room, we must be more united," Neymar told reporters in the mixed zone.

"I see a lot of young players who are not lost exactly, but they lack more ear than mouth.

"They must listen more than they talk. Sometimes a more experienced guy speaks, and they answer back. The coach himself speaks, and they retort. This is not how a team goes far.

"We are more experienced, so they must respect us a bit more, listen a bit more. I had to do the same when I was starting out,'' Neymar told reporters according to Goal.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar was banned for three games in the Champions League following his comments in the aftermath of his club’s 3-1 surprise defeat at the hands of Man United.

Neymar who only recently made his return to the pitch after a long injury lay-off, furiously posted a message on social media, after Man United’s controversial penalty awarded against Presnel Kimpembe late on at the Parc des Princes.

Buhari’s Legacy Of Recessions By Fredrick Nwabufo

Fredrick Nwabufo ‘Why always Buhari?’ As it was in 1984 under General Buhari, so it is in 2016 and 2020 under President Buhari? Is it by the unfortunate hands of kismet that recession hits Nigeria every time Buhari takes charge of the country’s affairs? If the recession of the 80s under Buhari was a conspiracy by economic and political factors, to what do we attribute that of his first coming as a civilian President — and now in his second coming? Why does pestilence scourge the land, hunger ravage the population and lives lost malevolently when Buhari presides over the country? Why always Buhari? Buhari’s undoing is his wonted predilection for hierarchising ethnicity, religion and loyalty above competence. Since 1999, no President has obtrusively shown a more nepotistic aspect than Buhari. It is unarguable that the President arrays the most competence-challenged cabinet ever in the chronicle of governance in Nigeria. Yes, a recession cabinet. Fredrick Nwabufo Here is a cabin...
