Actress Omotola threatens to block follower who accused her of collecting free money from politicians

A popular Nigerian actress has reacted to a Twitter follower who made some allegations against her by threatening to block the user on the platform.

It would be recalled that Legit.ng earlier gathered a report of how Nolloywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, shared her piece of mind with the online community in a post directed to the Nigerian president and his vice.

The actress lamented the living conditions and poor circulation of money under the watch of the political leaders, adding that many citizens are living in fear, insecurity and desperation.

As expected, her opinion generated a lot of mixed reactions from the internet community with some people pitching their tents in the confines of her school of thought while others were against it.

Among those that faulted the screen diva’s opinion is a particular user identified as Temilade Jones, who opined that the opinion she presented was shallow.

Jones said : "This is so shallow coming from you. You meant to write 'no more free money for you and your likes."

In response to the allegation of collecting free money, the actress chided the internet user and threatened a possible termination of further engagements between the both of them on the platform.

"You are really the shallow one... but doltish people like you never really do any research or think deeply before typing. Have you ever seen me at/collecting political rally monies or the sort? Watch yourself, you will get blocked." she said.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
