Actress Joke Silva welcomes granddaughter, recounts how she felt anxious before the delivery

Childbirth is a daunting but memorable experience especially if it ends well. To birth a child is not an easy task and people are often grateful to God after its success.

It is a time of joy in the home of Nollywood veterans, Joke Silva and Olu Jacobs, after their son Soji welcomed a child with his wife, Boma.

Boma recently put to bed a bouncing baby girl and her mother-in-law, Joke Silva, shared the exciting news on social media.

The actress explained that she was anxious when Boma was in labour perhaps because they were oceans apart but she is very happy to now be a grandmother.

Silva also revealed the names of her newborn granddaughter. She wrote:

“When you went into labour... my very own Blessing... my own Morounkeji... @mrsjacobs_jnr I wasn't expecting such anxiety!!! What!!! May be because we are oceans apart... but God!!! Merciful God, whose mercies are new every morning. Whose Faithfulness is great indeed made all things beautiful. And our Oluwasoromidayo Atarah Owanaemi Abimbola has come. Soji @mrjacobs_jnr thank you for your incredible calmness I cant wait to hug you all.”

Recall that Soji and Boma tied the knot at in 2018 at a beautiful occasion that had numerous celebs in attendance.

Photos from the wedding also circulated online and many people poured in their congratulations to the adorable couple.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID.
