Tension as Chelsea list 2 managers as replacement for Maurizio Sarri

Chelsea are eyeing Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo or club legend Frank Lampard as a potential replacement for Maurizio Sarri.

The Sun report claim Chelsea chiefs were hoping to land Zinedine Zidane before the Frenchman was re-appointed by Real Madrid

However, club owner Roman Abramovich is nor keen on sacking Sarri before the end of the campaign, but there is growing fear the Italian tactician is not the right man for Chelsea.

At the last count, Chelsea supporters protested against Sarri’s reign during FA Cup defeat by Manchester United in February, and are preparing to boycott April Premier League games.

The report further revealed that Sarri will not be fired before the end of the campaign except Chelsea crash out of the Europa League or lose out in the quest for a top-four finish.

However, Zidane’s decision to return to Real Madrid, along Juventus boss Max Allegri’s snub, has left Chelsea searching from an alternative.

The 45-year-old Nuno has been growing support within Chelsea board after guiding Wolves to seventh spot in alongside a FA Cup semi-final spot in first season back in English topflight.

And 40-year-old club icon Lampard would be Chelsea supporters’ preferred choice if considered as atto’s replacement.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Chelsea supporters are keen on ending Maurizio Sarri's reign at Stamford Bridge with hundreds of season-ticket holders set to boycott upcoming Premier League games.

According to Daily Mail report, some fans have opted to sell off their seats, resulting to low turnout experienced at Chelsea last home tie against Wolves.

And in the coming month, more are expected to miss out against Brighton, West Ham and Burnley when thy visits at Stamford Bridge.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID.
