Real Madrid star player involved in heated argument with president, threatens to leave club

- Sergio Ramos reportedly got involved in a spat with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez

- The 32-year-old watched his teammates from the stands as they go humiliated 4-1 by Ajax

- The Spain international also threatened to leave the club if the president decides to sell him

Sergio Ramos has reportedly threatened to leave Real Madrid after he got involved in a dressing room spat with club president Florentino Perez.

According to Spanish news media outlet AS, Los Blancos captain had a row after the embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Ajax in the Champions League.

The Spain international watched from the box at the Santiago Bernabeu and even had a TV crew filming him but both he and Perez headed into the changing room afterwards.

It is understood Perez slammed the players for their lack of dedication, having too many free days and even described them as 'shameful'.

However, Ramos hit back at Perez blaming him for the current crisis the club is facing.

Speaking in front of the players and coaching staff, the 32-year-old reportedly said: "You pay me and I leave.

"I have given everything and I have broken my face for this shield, for this club and even for you."

Real have lost four consecutive home matches to Girona, twice to Barcelona and Ajax within the space of two weeks.

The club also recorded their worst Champions League home defeat when they were humiliated by the Amsterdam outfit.

Ballon d'Or winner Luka Modric took to Instagram today to address the poor form.

He wrote: "This has been the most difficult week in my football life. But success is not about never falling down but about getting up every time it happens. #HalaMadrid"

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Sergio Ramos watched from the stands in frustration as Real Madrid were dumped out of the Champions in front of their home fans.

Los Blancos captain believed his club have done enough to take a 2-1 advantage back to the Santiago Bernabeu.
