From April 2019, people found engaged in gay practice and adultery will start finding death sentence by stoning hang around their necks as Brunei plans to incorporate full strict Shariah law into its penal code.
CNN reports that the new strict new laws, which were announced in 2014, have been rolled out gradually with the latest phase of implementation quietly announced on the Brunei attorney general's website on December 29, 2018.
Legit.ng gathers that the new penal code will be fully implemented on April 3, and individuals found guilty will be stoned to death before a group of Muslims who will stand as witnesses.

Announcing the new development, Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkia, vowed that his government will not leave stones unturned in ensuring that the new laws stay.
He said: "This government does not expect other people to accept and agree with it, but that it would suffice if they just respect the nation in the same way that it also respects them."
Brunei is reportedly the first country to adopt the sharia law in the region, and the the new penal code has generated mixed with activists calling for the abolition of the strict corporal punishments.
Rachel Chhoa-Howard, Brunei researcher at Amnesty International, in a statement, called for the halt to the implementation of the law.
He further called the international community to ''urgently condemn'' it.
He said: ''Brunei must immediately halt its plans to implement these vicious punishments, and revise its Penal Code in compliance with its human rights obligations.
''The international community must urgently condemn Brunei's move to put these cruel penalties into practice."
Brunei, a tiny, oil-rich kingdom of just over 450,000 people, is located on the island of Borneo, close to moderate Islamic nations of Indonesia and Malaysia.
Over the recent time, the nation has dragged itself to global condemnation for its obnoxious conservativeness when it banned the sales and consumption of alcohol.
