Outrage as man repeatedly kicks 78-year-old woman on train ride, onlookers standby and do nothing (video)

The war against domestic violence and abuse of women has been a long one coming. Several volunteering and non-governmental agencies have embarked on campaigns to sensitize the society on the ills of beating up a fellow human being.

It would appear that even though the message has taken ground to a reasonable extent, the war is far from being over. A video which has become a viral sensation on social media is getting a lot of internet users outraged.

A Twitter user identified as Rello, recently took to popular micro blogging platform Twitter, with the video post, while calling the attention of the public to the ills being committed against an aged and helpless woman.

In the video which was filmed inside a train ride, a man was spotted as he approached the seated granny, and unleashed a barrage of lethal kicks on her.

The poor lady who appeared to be lacking in strength remained seated while she was repeatedly assaulted. Even more disturbing is the fact that several onlookers could be heard cheering in the background while filming, with no one making any attempt to stop the assaulter.

Satisfied at the amount of pain he had brought on the granny, he stumped out of the ride and was still not accosted by anyone.
