Mourinho opens up on losing Real Madrid job to Zinedine Zidane

Jose Mourinho has explained that Spanish giants Real Madrid made a perfect decision to appoint Frenchman Zinedine Zidane as the new manager who replaced Solari.

Since Mourinho left Manchester United in December 2018, he has been linked with a return to Real Madrid with reports saying he could be appointed this summer.

But Real Madrid chiefs recently fired Santiago Solari after poor games this season and decided to hire former coach Zidane.

Zidane left the Spanish club last year after winning the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League title beating Liverpool in the final in Kiev.

Jose Mourinho has now finally broken his silence on Zidane beating him to get the job at Real Madrid.

“I think it's perfect with the fantastic things he's done in recent years

“It's perfect for me, perfect for Madrid, perfect for him,'' Jose Mourinho explained according to Daily Star UK.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Zinedine Zidane made a crucial decision on Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos after making a return to the Bernabeu after ten months.

The 46-year-old was involved in his first training since replacing sacked boss Santiago Solari at Los Blancos on a deal until 2022.

Zidane's first point of call was to call Ramos who was reportedly threatening to leave the club should Jose Mourinho be brought back as manager.
