Men cannot be trusted, I don’t need a man to make me happy - Popular actress says as she talks about marriage

- Ghanaian actress Vicky Zugah has revealed that she is okay being a single lady

- Zugah noted that she would rather be single than get married and be miserable

A Ghanaian actress has revealed how she feels about marriage. The popular actress Vicky Zugah who shared her opinion on marriage on a Facebook live video, had expressed that not every woman was born to marry.

The young lady had explained that she is okay with living a single life. She added that marriage is not a priority if you are not with the right person.

Zugah further noted that not every woman is born to marry. The lady explained that some women have a good career and all they want is to focus on it and travel around the world.

She said: "Happiness comes from within and not from a marriage or your spouse. Not every woman is born to marry. Some women want to have a good career and travel around and be happy."

In the live video that aired on Sunday, March 23, the actress expressed that there is pressure everywhere on women to get married.

Zugah said: "The pressure is everywhere and it’s not funny anymore. Some women won’t marry because they haven’t found the right person and that is what I want people to understand.”

The actress stated that she would rather be single than be married and unhappy. “I would rather be single than to be married and be miserable. Looking at the divorce rate out there, I think I am okay being single right now.”

It could be assumed that the actress is of this opinion due to what she has experienced from men she dated in the past.

In the video, the mother of two noted that men cannot be trusted, adding that they only behave nicely in the beginning.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
