Media personality Uti Nwachukwu slams pastors who use fear to convince their members

- Nigerian media personality and reality show winner, Uti Nwachukwu, has taken to social media to share his thoughts on some pastors

- According to Uti, he dislikes the fact that some pastors use fear to convince people

- The TV guy further added that God has not given men the spirit of fear

Many Africans are very religious and superstitious people and most of them do not joke with the words of their spiritual leaders.

Spiritual leaders in Africa no doubt command a great deal of respect and their words can either make or mar one’s life depending on how it is received.

Media personality and BBAfrica All Stars winner, Uti Nwachukwu, has taken to social media to share his opinion on some African men of God who use fear to convince their members to worship God.

According to him, it is extremely wrong because God has not given man the spirit of fear.

He tweeted: “I HATE that some African pastors/ministers often use FEAR as a tool to convince people to worship GOD! Fear of Poverty Fear of Failure Fear of Attack & ultimately Fear of Hell!

This is EXTREMELY WRONG! God has not Given us the spirit of Fear! WE HAVE TO BE WISE IN THESE TIMES O!”

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
