Just In: Drama as court nullifies APC primaries in Zamfara after guber candidate claimed victory at polls
The Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto, led by Justice Tom Yakubu, has set aside the judgment of a Zamfara High Court on the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries.
The exercise produced the party’s candidates for governorship, national and state Assembly elections, NAN reports.

Recall that Legit.ng previously reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the APC governorship candidate in Zamfara, Alhaji Mukhtar Shehu, the winner of the gubernatorial poll in the state.
INEC declared Shehu winner of the election which held on March 9 after polling 534,541 votes to defeat his close challenger of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Zamfara collation officer, Prof Kabiru Bala of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, said Shehu's closest rival, Bello Muhammad Mutawalle of the PDP polled 189,452 votes.
