Isco and Bale score as Real Madrid beat Vigo in Zidane’s first match in charge

Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo 2-0 in a La Liga clash on Saturday, March 16, in Zinedine Zidane’s first game in charge after returning for his second spell at club.

The encounter at the Santiago Bernabeu saw both sides battle to a barren draw at the end of the first stanza.

However, in the second stanza, Real Madrid upped their game and were rewarded in the 62nd minute when Isco netted the opener off a Benzema cross.

On the 77th minute Gareth Bale increased Real Madrid second goal of the night to see the Los Blancos go two goals up with 13 mites left on the clock.

Despite other scoring chances none of the sides was able to score again as the scoreboard read Real Madrid 2-0 Celta Vigo: at the blast of the final whistle.
