Senate President Bukola Saraki has congratulated the governors of Sokoto and Benue states, Aminu Tambuwal and Samuel Ortom, on their victory in the supplementary elections which held in their states on Saturday, March 23.
Saraki sent the message in a tweet on his handle, @bukolasaraki, on Sunday, March 24.

Legit.ng notes that the Senate president wished both men success as they continue to lead the people of their states.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Senate President Bukola Saraki described the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 presidential election as a loss to the nation, saying it will be short-lived.
Saraki spoke at an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.
The Senate president condemned the role played by the military in the election, saying it had made the country a laughing stock.
