Governor El-Rufai reveals what he will do to those who voted against him

- Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the Kaduna state governor, has appealed to people of the state to join hand with him to develop the state

- The governor said he would be fair to all including those that voted against him on Saturday, March 9, during the governorship election held in the state

- El-Rufai also noted that there would be a reinforcement of security agencies to help protect the lives of the people of the state

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has vowed to be fair and just to all the people of the state irrespective of their political affiliation.

Daily Trusts reports that the governor said elections were over and so it was time to provide good governance to the people as he appealed to his opponents and supporters to join hand together and work for the progress and development of the state.

Legit.ng gathered that El-Rufai, who made the comment at a dinner organised in his honour at the Government House in the night of Friday, March 22, appealed to the people of the state to live in peace and harmony with each other.

“I believe that elections were over so, let us come together and work for the unity. We will be fair and just to every one whether they voted for us or not. Whether they voted for us or against us. Elections are over. it’s now time for governance,” he said.

‎On the security deterioration in some communities of the state, El-Rufai, said there would be a reinforcement of security agencies to help protect the lives of the people in those affected areas.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state reacted to the alleged death of his driver and the purported report that he was in comatose as he described the rumour as the handiwork of his political enemies in the state.

It was reported that the governor wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday, March 14, that the story was not only false but the imagination of his enemies.
