Atiku reacts as Muller report vindicates US Donald Trump of alleged conspiracy with Russia

- Atiku Abubakar has congratulated Donald Trump on his vindication by Robert Muller report

- The congratulatory message to the US president was posted by Atiku on his verified Twitter handle

- Atiku said he believed that the development will give room for further successes for Trump

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has congratulated the US president, Donald Trump, on his controversial vindication by Muller report over the allegation of conspiracy with Russia on the 2016 US presidential election.

Legit.ng had earlier reported that a summary of a report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller cleared Donald Trump of an alleged conspiracy with Russia for his victory during the 2016 presidential election.

Muller, in his two year report claimed he did not find any ''US person or Trump campaign official conspired or knowingly co-ordinated with Russia''

Trump, amid concerns and doubt by from the democrats, said the Muller report meant there was ''No Collusion, No Obstruction, Complete but Total exoneration.''

Reaction to the vindication, Atiku said he believed that the development ''will give room for further successes by the 45th President of the United States.''

He said: ''I congratulate President @realDonaldTrump on his vindication by the Robert Mueller report. It is my hope that the lifting of this cloud will give room for further successes by the 45th President of the United States.

''I trust Nigeria can learn from the application of rigorous due process to get to the truth of our current challenges. Congratulations once again.''

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Tthe All Progressive Congress (APC) in Delta state had urged the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the recently held presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to toe the soft path and humbly accept defeat.

Orughon, who spoke in Warri on Tuesday, March 26, said he was surprised that Atiku was infuriated by the votes garnered by the president in Kano state.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
