Actress Philip fights for young girl who was viciously stabbed on her hand by step mum (photos)

- Nigerian actress Virgo Philip has called out a woman who allegedly stabbed her step daughter

- The actress shared a photo of the girl's hand while demanding justice for the injured child

Actress Virgo Philip has many internet users unsettled after sharing a photo of a young girl who was allegedly stabbed by her step mum. Some social media users have stated that the young girl is named Emem Ememdiong and many others have joined the movement in demanding for justice for the little girl.

According to Philip, Emem was viciously stabbed by her step mum and the young girl ran to her house to ask for help. She also revealed that the girl's father is not saying anything about it and seems to be siding with his step mum over the abuse of the young girl.

Many social media users are now trending #justiceforEmemEmediong, asking that authorities it involved and defend the young child before it causes more harm psychologically.

It was gathered that the girl is being abandoned by her dad and only has to rely on the voices of some social media users to get justice.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
