Senator Andy Uba has expressed optimism in his ability to win the Senatorial seat at the ongoing presidential, National Assembly elections in Nigeria.

Uba, the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate from Anambra south, told Legit.ng after casting his vote this morning, that he believes he has done enough to win the votes of his people.
The soft spoken politician who cast his vote at his Okwute Hall 1 polling unit, Uga Ward 1 in Aguata local government area of Anambra state, also appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to extend the duration for the voting exercise.
“I believe, as you can see, that everything is going on peacefully here, and that’s how the reports have been across the state so far,” he said.
On whether he will come out victorious in the polls or not, Senator Uba exuded confidence about his and President Buhari’s chances of coming out top when the results are made public.

He remarked: “I will win, I am certain about this because we have done enough to earn our people’s mandate. President Buhari will also win, that is one thing I am certain about.”

Osinbajo expressed confidence that the APC would return to power and retain its ruling position. The vice president said: “We are very very confident indeed. We have gone round the Country and spoken to the nation about the need for us to continue in the path we have set, a path to growth and development for the nation, and we believe we deserve a second term in order to be able to complete all that we have started."
