Paul Pogba has tendered an apology to his Manchester United teammates following his red card against Paris-Saint-Germain in the Champions League encounter at Old Trafford.

The Premier League club suffered a shocking defeat against Paris-Saint-Germain in front of their fans which now makes the second leg match in Paris a Kilimanjaro for United to climb.

Pogba was red carded in the second half when his teammates were trying to restore parity against their visitors.

The 2018 World Cup winner gave a bad tackle to Brazilian defender Dani Alves and the referee had no choice than to give the Frenchman his second yellow card which sent him out of the game.

And according to the report by UK Sun, the former Juventus star felt bad about the incident when his other teammates got to the dressing room.

He then apologized to his teammates for the pain he made them to go through after he was sent off against Paris-Saint-Germain.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba will miss the second leg match against Paris-Saint-Germain because of the red card he got.

Also Manchester United's defeat against the French club was the first loss for interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has been impressive since he replaced Jose Mourinho.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Paul Pogba has been slammed by football fans for the red card he got in Manchester United's defeat against French club Paris-Saint-Germain at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

The 2018 World Cup winner has now been suspended for the second leg of the round of 16 Champions League encounter against PSG in Paris.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
