Jordan Dawes, former Charlton female goalkeeper who was diagnosed with liver cancer last November after suffering stroke has died.
The 18-year-old shot-stopper played for fifth-tier side Kent Football United earlier in the season.
Dawes received well wishes from the football community with Manchester United number one David De Gea also following her diagnosis.

"We are heartbroken beyond heartbroken," a family statement said.
"She had so much life to live. Never stop loving and hugging your beautiful children as it's a cruel world out there."

Several Women Soccer League players including Chelsea's Fran Kirby and Manchester United's female team manager Casey Stoney, sent messages of support to Dawes on social media following news of her illness.
A funding page was also created to help her pay for her treatment, was positive as monies donated passed more than £8,500.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported Gordon Banks, England's 1966 World Cup winning goalkeeper, has died at the age of 81.
The 73 capped shot-stopper, who is regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers in the world, was named FIFA goalkeeper of the year six times.
