Eric Harrison became youth team manager in 1981, but it was under former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson that he enjoyed his coaching career.
Alex Ferguson joined in 1986 with the Scot revamping the club's scouting network.
And that led to the fabled class of '92, widely been acknowledged as one of the greatest crops of young players to graduate into a first team.
In 1992 under Eric Harrison, great players like Neville, Beckham, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs and Robbie Savage won the FA youth Cup.
