Ronaldo scores 18th goal in Serie A in Juventus away win at Sassuolo

- Sassuolo vs Juventus ended in a 3-0 win for Juve as they extend their lead at the top

- Cristiano Ronaldo was directly involved in all the three goals scored against Sassuolo

- The 33-year-old has now scored his 18th of the season in his debut season in Serie A

Sassuolo vs Juventus ended in a 3-0 scoreline in favour of Max Allegri's side as Juve go 11 points clear at the top of Serie A.

Sami Khedira set the ground running after he slammed home an initial shot from Cristiano Ronaldo which was saved by the keeper to make it 1-0.

The Portuguese got his name on the scoresheet in the second half from a trademark header after rising highest tin the box to score from a Miralem Pjanic's corner to make it 2-0.

Ronaldo also had a hand in the Bianconeri's third goal as he provided an assist for Emre Can who finished off in style to wrap it up at 3-0.

The Italian champions returned to winning ways after a disappointing 2-2 draw to Parma at the Allianz Stadium last weekend.

Juve were also knocked out of the Coppa Italia after losing to Atlanta surprisingly by 3-0 but the win away at Sassuolo will give the Old Lady much confidence on the domestic scene.

Ronalo now has an incredible 18 goals in 23 matches in his debut season in Serie A and 20th in all competitions in 31 games following last summer's switch from Real Madrid.
