Mohamed Salah will miss out Pharaoh’s of Egypt friendly match against Nigeria’s Super Eagles in Asaba next month.
According to a Goal.com report citing KingFut, Egypt Football Association (EFA) vice-president Ahmed Shobier, confirmed that the Liverpool star alongside West Brom defender Ahmed Hegazi are likely to be left out of Javier Aguirre’s tutored-side.

Although, Egypt have sealed qualification for this year's AFCON on home soil, the North Africans are still expected to round-off the qualifiers against Niger on March 22.
And will head to neigbouring Nigeria after four days to battle the Super Eagles as both countries kick-start preparations for the 2019 AFCON.

“Mohamed Salah will not play the Niger game in the AFCON qualifiers or the Nigeria friendly,” Shobier was quoted as saying by KingFut.
“Ahmed Hegazi will probably also be left out of the squad,” he added.
Interestingly, Salah’s absence is linked with Liverpool’s quest for their first Premier League silverware since 1990.

With Salah and Hegazi missing from the squad, new Pharaoh’s boss Javier Aguirre, is expected to try out fringe players in the squad during the upcoming fixtures next month.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Africa’s football governing body, CAF have named Egypt as the new hosts for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, slated to commence in the summer.
According to a statement via CAF’s official Twitter handle on Tuesday, January 8, announced Egypt will now replace Cameroon as the new hosts for the 24-nation tournament.
Two countries, Egypt and South Africa were the only countries that signified their intention through a bid, with CAF executive committee members deciding the winner through a voting process.
