INEC declares Atiku winner of 10 out of 17 LGAs in Plateau state

- INEC election results declares by INEC in so far in 13 local government areas of Plataea state shows that Atiku Abubakar has won in 10 LGAs

- The electoral commission says the presidential candidate of the APC, Muhammadu Buhari won in three Local government areas in Plataea state

- The commission is awaiting the results of other 4 Local government areas

Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has been declared winner of the presidential elections in 10 Local government areas in Plateau.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has so far declared results of 13 local government areas.

The commission is awaiting the results of other 4 Local government areas.

Prof Richard Kimbir, the collation officer, declared that Atiku of the PDP won in 10 Local government areas.

The electoral commission said that the presidential candidate of the APC, Muhammadu Buhari won in three Local government areas

NAN reports that the PDP won in Jos south, Bokkos, Barkin Ladi, Riyom, and Bassa Local government areas.

Other Local government areas won by the PDP include, Langtang North, Langtang South, Pankshin, Mikang and Kanke.

Kimbir said the APC won in Jos East, Shendam and Qua’anpan Local government areas.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Saturday, February 23 presidential elections has won in Osun.

Professor Toyin Ogundipe, the state collation Officer announced at the INEC headquarters in Osogbo at about 12:25am on Monday, February 25, that Buhari scored 347,634 votes.

Ogundipe, who is the vice-chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) said Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 337,377 votes.
