Friends of a young man have taken to social media to demand justice for their friend who was killed by a mob. The young man had allegedly been accused of being a thief while he was on his way home from work.

According to his friends who shared his story on Facebook, the deceased man identified as Temitope Adeoye had been burnt to death after he was accused.

A Facebook user, who described himself as Adeoye's best friend, the young man had been on his way home from work when a group of people pointed at him and accused him of being a thief.

The Facebook user identified as Su Ra ju explained that his best friend had worked at Apapa tincan in Lagos Island port.

According to Su Ra Ju, the deceased had lost his mother in December, 2018, and his girlfriend his heavily pregnant. He demanded for justice for his friend.
