Ex Real Madrid boss reveals who is the best between Lionel Messi and Ronaldo

- Lionel Messi has been rated high than Ronaldo by former Real Madrid coach Vicente del Bosque

- Vicente del Bosque is of the opinion that the Argentine is more complete than the Portuguese

- Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have both won five Ballon d'Or award each since they began their soccer career

Former Spain and Real Madrid manager Vicente del Bosque has rated Barcelona star Lionel Messi high than rival Cristiano Ronaldo claiming that the Argentine is more complete and natural.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are arguably the best football stars in the world for the past 10 years considering what they have achieved in the round leather game.

These two players have both won the Ballon d'Or five times each, but despite winning many individual awards and trophies at their clubs, they have never won the World Cup.

The performances of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have generated lots of debate among football fans and pundits on who is better between these two stars.

This season, Cristiano Ronaldo has netted 19 goals for Italian club Juventus, while Lionel Messi on the other hand has scored 33 goals this term for Barcelona.

Vicente del Bosque has now joined the debate claiming that Lionel Messi is better than Cristiano Ronaldo.

''Messi almost always plays well. There are players who never do it wrong. He has an impressive regularity. He is a great player.

"I'm staying with Messi. I see a more natural soccer player, from his time in the neighborhood, playing with friends on the street. Even so,

''Cristiano has extraordinary courage, with physical and technical conditions as a great scorer, but I'm staying with Messi,'' he told Mundo Deportivo.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Barcelona star Lionel Messi took the time to celebrate his son, Ciro, on his first year despite his preparations for his side's El Clasico clash against Real Madrid.

The Argentine star posted a picture of the celebrant on his official Instagram page saying "Happy birthday! We love you".
