Chelsea star finally reveals urgent reason he left the club for top Italian giants

- Tiemoue Bakayoko has explained that he left Chelsea because he was not wanted

- Bakayoko is currently playing for AC Milan on loan after his failure to command regular shirt at Chelsea

- The Frenchman added that it was a tough decision for him to leave Chelsea for a move to Italy

French professional football star Tiemoue Bakayoko has finally explained why he left Premier League side Chelsea for a move to AC Milan claiming he felt unwanted at Stamford Bridge.

Bakayoko joined Chelsea in a mega million move from Monaco, and he was tipped to succeed in the Premier League considering his superb form before he left France.

But the 24-year-old player was unable to find his rhythm at Chelsea and after playing 25 games, he was sent on loan to Italian club AC Milan.

He is now resurrecting his career with AC Milan after a torrid time at Stamford Bridge which forced him out of the club.

"I left Chelsea because I felt that the club did not want me anymore. Of course, I was sorry. I've been there for a year, it did not go as I had expected.

"It was a simple and difficult decision at the same time to be taken because Chelsea are Chelsea and I do not think I have shown my skills, so it is unpleasant.

"It was an easy decision instead because I do not think the coach was counting on me and Milan is difficult to refuse.

"What went wrong at Chelsea? Everything was going right up to a particular moment.

"It was not a simple thing to live and it was probably my first hard time in my career: to be in a club that does not want you for the following season,'' Bakayoko told French site Bros Stories.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Italian League giants AC Milan are reportedly planning to terminate the loan deal of Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko in the coming days if he fails to prove his worth.

The 24-year-old joined the Serie A side on a season long loan deal in the summer of 2018 after the arrival of new boss Maurizio Sarri.

Buhari’s Legacy Of Recessions By Fredrick Nwabufo

Fredrick Nwabufo ‘Why always Buhari?’ As it was in 1984 under General Buhari, so it is in 2016 and 2020 under President Buhari? Is it by the unfortunate hands of kismet that recession hits Nigeria every time Buhari takes charge of the country’s affairs? If the recession of the 80s under Buhari was a conspiracy by economic and political factors, to what do we attribute that of his first coming as a civilian President — and now in his second coming? Why does pestilence scourge the land, hunger ravage the population and lives lost malevolently when Buhari presides over the country? Why always Buhari? Buhari’s undoing is his wonted predilection for hierarchising ethnicity, religion and loyalty above competence. Since 1999, no President has obtrusively shown a more nepotistic aspect than Buhari. It is unarguable that the President arrays the most competence-challenged cabinet ever in the chronicle of governance in Nigeria. Yes, a recession cabinet. Fredrick Nwabufo Here is a cabin...
