N'Golo Kante has urged Chelsea supporters to back the team during the challenging times and the Frenchman has also defended Jorginho.

Embattled Blues' boss Maurizio Sarri is adamant playing his former Napoli defender in the holding midfield position, moving Kante further ahead.

The Italy international was jeered by fans at Stamford Bridge when he made a substitute appearance in Chelsea's 3-0 Europa League win over Malmo.

But Kante said: “Jorginho came this season and is doing very well.

“He knows very well the philosophy of the manager. He is very important for us at the club.

“We are doing well. As a team, we have some difficulties at the moment but we are all together.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Chelsea have been drawn to face Dynamo Kyiv in the round of 16 Europa League.

The Premier League side defeated Malmo 3-0 to qualify into the last 16 with a 5-1 aggregate scoreline.
