Chelsea fans call for Sarri's sack, reveal who they want to become their next manager

- Maurizio Sarri in trouble as Chelsea fans says he doesn't know what he is doing

- The Blues were dumped out of the FA Cup on Monday, February 18, after losing 2-0 to Man United

- The supporters after the defeat turn on their manager saying the club should re-hire Mourinho

Chelsea fans are furious with coach Maurizio Sarri following their ouster from the FA Cup at the fifth round stage on Monday night.

The Blues suffered 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Stamford Bridge with Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba scoring a goal each after regulation period.

Though, Sarri's men started the match so much promises but Herrera's 31st minute goal punctured all their aspirations in the game.

SunSport however reports that the club's supporters have expressed their displeasure towards the manager - saying "you don't know what you're doing".

Meanwhile, the Red Devils fans were said to have joined in the mocking too - even if it was somewhat self-deprecatory.

They also said after the match that: "you're getting sacked in the morning", while they chanted "bring back Mourinho".

Cries of "f*** Sarriball" boomed out around a packed Stamford Bridge for the explosive clash.

Sarri's substitution in the 71st minute when Ross Barkley replaced Mateo Kovacic was greeted with the fans chanting "you don't know what you're doing".

While Bayern Munich major target Callum Hudson-Odoi was left sitting on the bench for the whole of the game.

After the match, the Blues boos said that: "I am worried about results. Not about the fans."

The former Napoli boss also said about the chants of the fans that: "Not really very well. But sometimes yes."

Chelsea face Manchester City in the final of the EFL Cup on February 24 and the result of match could determine his fate at the club.

He said: "We were unlucky. We played a very good first half. We played confusing football in the second half.

"I feel pressure for results of course, not about something else. We have to work, to speak, we have to find more aggression and determination in both boxes."

Former Barcelona forward Pedro Rodriguez admitted after the game that Chelsea are in a "difficult situation" with the fans now.

He said: "It was a big opportunity for us to stay with the supporters but now it is a difficult situation. A difficult day for us. "We have to believe in ourselves and this team."

Meanwhile, the fans are telling the club to re-hire Jose Mourinho, who won three Premier League titles for them during his two stints at the club.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United dump Chelsea out of FA Cup after beating the defending champions 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera scored a goal each as the Red Devils progress to the next stage of the championship.

They will now face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the quarterfinals of the competition as they hope to win silverware this term.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
