Zlatan Ibrahimovic lashes out at Cristiano Ronaldo after his mega money move to Juve

- Ibrahimovic slams Ronaldo after calling his move to Juventus a challenge

- The 33-year-old sealed a mega money move to Italian League champion Juventus last summer

- Zlatan insists Ronaldo needs to go to a smaller club and help them achieve greatness to prove his quality

Former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has blasted Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo over his move to Italian League champions Juventus.

The 33-year-old ended his nine year reign with Real Madrid after the 2018 FIFA World Cup and sealed a move to the Allianz Stadium to join the Old Lady in a deal around £99 million.

He has since then scored 14 goals and created five assists in 19 league matches, as Allegri's men sit atop of the log with 53 points - nine points better than Napoli.

ESPN however reports that the former Manchester United forward believes Ronaldo could have gone to a more lower club and prove his quality there.

The 37-year-old insisted that the Portuguese star joined a team that has won the league title in the last six years.

"Cristiano Ronaldo calls it a challenge to go to a team already armed, that has been winning the Serie A," Ibrahimovic told ESPNFC.

"Several years ago, why not go to a second division club to become the champion and take the team to the 1st. Bulls**t, going to Juve is no challenge."

Ibrahimovic on the other hand joined Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy in 2018 and in his first year at the club scored 22 goals and six assists in 27 matches for the franchise.

That was after spending close to one and a half season at Manchester United where he scored 17 goals in 33 topflight matches, and also won the Europa and EFL Cup in his first season.

Legit.ng earlier reported that AC Milan are interested in signing former star Zlatan Ibrahimovic to bolster their attack.

The latest development will be a bad news for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho who is said to be considering bringing the Swede back to Old Trafford in January.

Zlatan is eyeing a return to Europe after failing to push American club LA Galaxy into the MLS Cup finals.
