"Michy Batshuayi? We met in Belgium. We'll see what happens, but he's a player that can be interesting, that's for sure," declared Henry.

Batshauyi's played in the French league for two years and scored 26 goals in 62 appearances and will be of huge benefit to Henry at Monaco.

He also had a loan spell with Budesliga side Borussia Dortmund but a long term on the sidelines ended his exciting run of seven goals in ten matches.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Michy Batshuayi is expected back at Stamford Bridge after La Liga side Valencia confirmed they are in discussion to end his loan deal.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, January 10, Valencia’s sporting director Mateu Alemany confirmed the Belgian forward will be returning to west London this January.
