Solskjaer compares Marcus Rashford to Ronaldo, Rooney after 150th Man United appearances

- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hails impressive Marcus Rashford after netting fifth goal in the last six EPL matches

- The 21-year-old scored in the Red Devils' 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday

Marcus Rashford netted his eighth Premier League goal in Manchester United's 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford over the weekend.

The victory was the Red Devils seventh on a row since the arrival of new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in December 2018.

United got the game started with Paul Pogba scoring the opener for the hosts via the spot kick in the 27th minute.

And three minutes before half time, the England international doubled his side's lead, while Pascal Gross' second half goal ended up as consolation for the visitors.

After the game, Solskjaer told the media that the 21-year-old is showing skills beyond his age for the club having scored in at least a goal in his last five EPL matches under the interim boss.

When asked if Rashford is at the level of Ronaldo and Rooney, Solskjær said: "Yes. Definitely he can be absolutely top-class. He is only 21 but the maturity he is showing at times is more than 21 and his work rate."

The Norwegian continued: “The more you score the more you believe you are going to score.

The more you score the more chance you have of being confident, running into the same positions. The way he works during the week is fantastic because he practises a lot.

United's captain Ashley Young was satisfied with the victory but insisted that they should be more ruthless in the coming games.

He said that: “We can be even more clinical,"

"Being 2-0 up, we’ve got to be more ruthless to go and get the third, to go and get the fourth, to kill the game off, and then we can start keeping the ball more.

"We didn’t do that. They obviously got the goal and there was 15 minutes of defending.”

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
